- With the renewal of the ISO 14064-1:2019 certification, Logista reaffirms its position as a sustainability leader in the sector
Logista, one of the largest logistics operators in Europe, has renewed for the sixth consecutive year the prestigious ISO 14064-1:2019 Carbon Footprint certification. This renewal further strengthens the company’s position as a sustainability leader in the European logistics sector.
The verification, carried out with a reasonable level of assurance by SGS, a globally recognized certification body, confirms Logista’s ongoing commitment to transparency and reducing its environmental impact.
The thorough verification process enabled Logista to quantify and report a reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, from 485,059 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent in fiscal year 2023 to 480,088 tonnes in 2024. This achievement is particularly significant given the company’s operational growth during the same period.
The renewal of the ISO 14064-1:2019 certification adds to a series of international recognitions received by Logista over the past year, further consolidating its status as a sustainability benchmark in the logistics sector. In June 2025, the company was included for the second consecutive year in the prestigious “World’s Most Sustainable Companies” ranking by TIME and Statista, which identifies the 500 most sustainable companies worldwide.
Additionally, Logista has maintained its leadership position in CDP for the ninth consecutive year with an A- rating, being the only European logistics operator to remain in the Leadership category throughout this period. These recognitions not only validate the company’s sustainability strategy but also reflect the effective integration of responsible practices into its business model and value chain.
Juan Carlos Moro, Logista’s Corporate Operations Director, stated: “Renewing this certification for the sixth consecutive year validates our commitment to sustainability and demonstrates that we are moving in the right direction with tangible results.”
